We've had time to concentrate solely on unit training since the boats came back into commission after their refits, and we've all taken advantage of this.

Cuddle in.

Training in chartwork on Marigot for new members Oliver and Elizabeth.

Dave going aboard Badger during startup.

Kylie is launched and looks fantastic. Seems a shame to get her dirty but she'll be working soon.

Dave as skipper and Oliver under training at the helm.

Jim Moir bringing Badger alongside.

Badger's so much more responsive with her new engines - a totally different craft and much more manageable.

Feeding time in the enclosure.

Marigot passing the disused Larick Beacon off Tayport.

An oil rig came in to the Tay  - the Galaxy 2

This vessel took off seawards at top speed down the Tay causing problems for other river users near the castle.

Fighting an unusually strong tide at the entrance to Broughty Harbour the "Hen Party" returns

Jim looks very smart. We wondered if we could smell aftershave.

Nice to see her out again

Turning round in the Harbour using both engines

and away

Another training day - using Marigot and Badger

Man overboard practise was the local pub's wheelie bin full of glass bottles that we found floating in the water at Newport. Unfortunately for those of us who were blatantly seeking a reward - they hadn't realised it was missing

One of the "Overseas" fleet of tankers leaves the Tay

Brand new swans
