Badger to Perth (working alongside React UK) as escort vessel to Broughty Ferry Phibbies swimmers/Griff Rhys Jones.

The trip along to Perth started off well...

Badger's good in this and we found the optimimum speed for these conditions was 18 knots.

She had her own rainbow which travelled with us all the way to Newburgh. Bless it.

Might as well bless them too.

Gareth Norman from React UK takes swimmers from Badger

Jim wanted to join them but we wouldn't let him, his jumper might have shrunk.

He coped with his disappointment.

Is it cold?

AAAaaaaargh

****** it's cold!

Plop. Well done. Who's next?

Fife Powerboat Training Centre's Northcraft rib looked after Griff Rhys Jones and his camera crew.

I'm a celebrity get me out of here......

The Phibbies swimmers were taken by React to shore at the Friarton Bridge

The React guys on their small rib boarded Badger for the trip back to Newburgh while a coaster passed en route to Perth, taking advantage of the spring tide.

There goes another one

Mission accomplished. We went back with a badgerful of souls.

We caught up with the coaster as it passed the mouth of the Earn....

..and passed it

After reuniting the React team members from the small rib with their larger craft and vehicles at Newburgh, we had to overtake the coaster again after it passed us...again

Dark now. Badger making good speed

Jim and Bob drive Badger through the night while Jim Moir works the stockmarket in the blue light of his blackberry...blaeberry or whatever it is.

FLASH!  Ah good, I've won HBOS, now I can coil the ropes.
