It's a long walk across the mud

quite tiring too

but it's worth it.

Looking unusually fetching and not at all threatening, a few members get ready for the day's work on the boats.

There's a lot of sanding going on today.

by hand

and with a tool

on Badger too

all the exposed woodwork is sworn at and then sanded down to remove the grey oxidised surface.

Once the wood is sanded, the application of oil transforms it.

Another vessel close by, the Kylie S is restored to splendid condition in the boatyard by her owner who raised her from the seabed after she sunk.

Dave paints the Nav light housing

I have not got a dirty face.

You have got a dirty face.

Callum and Dave change Badger's fuel filters and then just grub around for a while, smelling of diesel.

Callum Grant!!
